Or even riding on pavement... or on a Valk... or in the USA. A book has been put together... don't know how long it will last... pictures of my 12 day ride on the Ho Chi Minh trail. I really enjoyed the video dvd you sent me of that trip If they ever come up with a kosher meal version of that trip I might be in fried rat? no thanks but then again I have never tried it What does it say when a person shows what they do more and talk less  by the way I cant get the page to load, says not found |

I had a Honda XR650 before the Valk and that rocky streamed/trail was the most fun stuff ever. Lots of questions: What bike? Did you post a ride report on www.advrider.com?Where can I see more pics? Been there in rocks like that at the famous Wind Rock Resort and Red Neck Campground and WInd Farm Oliver Springs Tennessee Good ride report Strong Eagle, keep them coming. |

Just looking at the pictures gives more credit to what the enemy did and the amount of arms they were able to move against us. I am NOT talking against our troops that served in Vietnam. I am marvelling at what they did as far as arms and food movrment. I read somewhere and can't remember where that they had hand carried the ammunition and the howitzers into the mountains to use against U S of A troops. Good report Strong Eagle. RIDE SAFE. |

What a ride that must have been. I've always wanted to go back to Nam and see all the places I had been. A motorcycle trip like that would be just unbelievable. The trail looks ruff indeed. I don't wee how they moved so much so fast. Rat is OK, dog is OK water buffalo, good, but we killed something in the jungle once that looked like a small long haired sort of deer. Now that was very good eating. Good report and pictures. |

My adopted neice and nephew from Peru eat fried rat and love it. They eat the whole darned thing, bones and all.
I thought I was man enough to try it and just couldn't do it.

One of the reasons we rode was to understand what it was like for Vietnam vets. We camped out, rode the trails that the VC used. It was tough enough... hard to imagine what it was like when there were mines, booby traps, and snipers as well. And yes, it is remarkable what the VC did... the HCMT is really many trails that split apart and come together... saw some remarkable stuff. |

VC or Viet Cong got the stuff they used for free from China and Russia.
Our Politicians would not let us bomb Hanoi until Operation Line Backer.
That war was pure political bull shiiite, that got a lot of our guys killed needlessly.
We won almost all the battles but lost in the court of public opinion.
You know I hate the VC and no admiring from me to them ever.
They crawled out their holes during the TET Offensive and it was like a turkey shoot.
In a strait up war they sucked.
Flip Flops and a AK 47 what a joke.
Oh yeah and Jane Fonda was and still is a traitor.
Can't believe she is still sucking in God's good clean air.
