1998 Tourer.. Anybody running the older 70' or 80's FLH outer (only)?   Fellow member has offered some Memphis Shade mounts/clamps as a starting point.  I already have handlebar mounted speakers (and I like them_Infinty 4-1/2" / with Amp under seat).   And not wanting to relocate Speedo/Tach.  So outer fairing seems where I'm headed on this.   Pics/Advice Please
P.S.  Also like a fellow member named "Kirk" fairing install,  also has 98 Tourer (Jade/Black), anybody know him?

I've had an FLHT(if I recall correctly) mounted for a few years now with no inner liner. Had to modify the bottom of it to remove the apron that came down over the HD forks. I already had the Kewl Metal windshield mount in place of the OEM, so I just cut some SS strap to the length needed and bolted it to that shield mount. Still had a small amount of vibes at speed so added a P clamp on each side of the handlebars and attached them to the windshield bolts using another short piece of SS. It's solid now.

This is an old picture, but gives you an idea.

PM fudgie.  I'm pretty sure that he put an older HD outer fairing on his Valk.  His looks good from the pics I've seen of it on here.

I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to
