Well came home on Thursday after having a small tumar removed from the left side if my head. I knew that the head pain I had was not right. Funny you dont need pain meds for this stuff. Theonly thing that hurts is the stiches, and those ar real small and behind the ear. Suffered a bit of comfusion for a few days , but that seems to be clearing up now. My wife the one that loves me looks at me and tells me the Doc needed a microscope to work on my brain. You think she is trying to tell me something? Really missed getting out for a ride , seems the weather has been great. I was so saddened to see the news about Gary,s passing. Ya know when in the hospital I have never said Woo is me because there are people worse off than I. The ones that killyou are the kids there. The ones that never got a cxhance to see and do what we have. Shortleg[Dave]

glad you're all right Dave! my brother had a tumor removed last november. it was directly in the center of his head. he went back to work last tuesday, fat and out of shape from the 9 weeks of doing nothing!! he's a mail carrier and he complains A LOT! he doesn't realize that he's got excellent medical benifits, was able to use sick time (who gets that now a days), and had a text book surgery (everything went perfectly). yet he still calls me on a weekly baisis to complain about how rotten his life is (i think most of it has to do with our bother in arizona !! ). i don't understand....... many people don't have text book brain surgeries, i hope you did. al.

I'm glad to hear you're back at home.
It's good to have a hospital to go to when you need it, but it's great when you get to leave the hospital.

great news all around
and yes a hospital is no place to be - too many sick people and it is a breedin place for staph infections
If ya dont mind we will keep you in our prayers for a complete recovery
tell yer wife that being as the brain is so small in your case that it will have plenty of room in there to slosh around and think motorcycle thoughts of your next ride

Great news, and the small brain was the obvious reason for the successful surgery. It's amazing that the things that were a death sentence a few years ago are now just a bump in the road. Life is good, heal quickly and easily, and enjoy yours. Keep us posted on your progress towards riding, I'll hope for a mild winter so you can ride sooner!

Okay pea brain, you said it, I didn't, I just commented on it. Heal correctly, fully and don't give the Mrs any crap, as she can and will get even. Follow the Dr's instructions to the 'T', you will suffer later if ya don't. If Dr says exercise, DO IT FAITHFULLY.
Just trust me on that little buddy.
PS: Super glad to hear everything came off as expected.
See ya on the road somewhere little Brother.
