I have a set of TSUKAYU hard bags on my 98 standard. I am having the problem that when I undo the latch, and grabbing it is the only wat to lift the lid up. When I do this the seal also comes up. Does anyone have a good ideas on what I can put on the bags to lift the lid. I thought about a 1/4 chrome acorn nut bolted about 1/2 inch above the latch but don't want it to look like crap.. Any ideals will be helpful.   Thanks  Cheesy

How 'bout a set of luggage racks for the lids?  Functional, yet something to grab onto.

Put a wee bead of RTV silicone under the seals, and push them down flush with the bag, wipe any excess and let dry overnight.  Rub the top of the seals with Armorall or something to keep them slippery so the lid does not drag them up.

The OE bag lids have a little tab on the inside rear of the lid built into the plastic itself to lift them with.
