OK guys, here is a discussion that came up with my GW buddies, during a weekly meeting. We got on the subject of the petcock and it's vacumm shut off. They mentioned that the GW GL1500 has an electric fuel pump and a vacumm shut off.

I had mentioned I wanted to add a fuel pump to my Valkyrie. The discussion came down to if the bike tips over, what is there to turn the fuel off? It got me thinking. Seems the most common item added is the electric shutoff relay. I'm adding a pump, that might continue to pump at a time I don't want fuel to continue to be feed.

What have others done for an auto shutoff? I take it this would also apply to those with a Belly Tank.

My first thought is to wire it into the tilt sensor, that will take some research.

Looks like the white wire from the bank angle sensor to a new relay would do the trick.
