We awoke this morning with power and without being able to see trees down in the moonlight. I think we've survived the night. The area was beset by tornado force winds last night, storms, and blizzards in the mountains. It is cold, but clear thus far.

I'm waiting a moment for the sun to start peeking up so I can keep a better eye out for limbs and trees in this stiff breeze. 29 degrees at the moment, but clear, despite the windchill this morning.

At least we made it through the night.

Off to work.

Glad to hear all survived. We are getting our first real snow of the year as well. Earlier this week it was in the 50's, today it most likely won't get above 25. So far since around 8pm last night we've got aroud 6 inches, and it looks like another 3 or 4 day.
The snow isn't so much a problem as the frikin' idiots that need to learn how to drive all over again. The police scanner is non stop this morning.
