60 miles West of Chicago!

« on: May 09, 2009, 07:30:28 PM »

Just thought I would share a few pics from

I started out Wednesday evening because it was going to rain all the way from Chicago to Nashville so I figured I get few miles closer which would make Thursday a little easier.

I made Seymor, IN Wednesday evening and Cullman, AL. mid-day Thursday. Winghot put me up for the night along with Carl, Lorrie, and Magoo with Scott staying at Frog's.

After we got settled in it was off to Frog's for diner.

And there was homemade Ice Cream for dessert .... something this city boy has not been exposed to .... and it was great! cooldude

Thanks to Winghot, Frog and their families for their hospitality.

Friday, after breakfast, it was back to the Downtown Grill and meet up with with a bunch of Cheaha bound Valks!

Coot showed up leading a group from Tennessee

Smokin' Joe was wearing the latest in bad weather footwear.

And then a group of us, lead by SlowPoke, headed out for the mountain.

Saturday .... it was off to the races .... Weather permitting ...

Santa was ready to go

The Moto GP race was going on when we got there

and we had a pretty good view of the bikes transitioning into the back straight.

all the races were pushed back because of the morning rain and we didn't stay around for the Super Bike Races .... but headed back up the mountain and relaxed.
