Here are pics with the faring pretty much complete. I have a radio coming; other than that she is finished. The Harley light bar finishes the look from the front. I left the lower running lights on until I see how the Harley lights work at night. I wired an in-line red light with the switch, both mounted on the dash so I could easily tell if the lights were on or not. Once the radio is installed all the wiring in the faring will be hidden. Yes, I used relays for all the accessories. I also bought a clock and thermometer from clocks4bikes. This is the second time I have used them and couldn't be happier. Here is a profile shot of the bike. She definately looks like the super cruiser she is! Now for a ride a little later today to enjoy my labor! Dubs

Looks very good.
The Radio and Speakers should sound good behind the Aero-Dynamics of the Bat Wing.
Mine Does.
Patent Pending by Harley Davidson.
But would it not be cheaper just to buy a used Harley that has a Bat Wing from the factory?
Just wondering.

Most of my projects would be cheaper just buying the bike already set up the way I want it, Big Al. But that takes all the fun away! Dubs

Not in the long run. Or the short run for that matter...Trade a 100 hp very unique machine for a 60 hp run of the mill see'em everywhere does'nt sound like a good trade to me.....You did a great job on the mounting " Sport "

Looking Good Bernie I like how you have placed the idiot lights on the dash. What is the red one for on the lower left hand side?

T-Bird......I think he said that he put a red led in so that he could tell when the harley driving lights were on. Man...that really looks good.

Thanks guys! Just got back from a little ride. Went over to Smoky Mtn. HD where I teach and several wanted to know what it was. I told them it was Harley's new Cruiser prototype! All kinds of looks and compliments! Can't wait to get a radio in to finish it up. The faring does do a really good job flowing the wind around me along with the Baker Wings. Dubs

Very nice job On the Bat Wing, I like the way the Valkyrie looks with the solo setup and a Fairing. That is a real nice set up you have there.

A friend of mine asked me why I just didn't buy a new Street Glide. I told him to ride it and that would answer his question. The Valkyrie is absolutely the best bike I have ever ridden; and I have ridden a few in my 65 years of living. It isn't the most comfortable, the fastest or the easiest on gas. It just does everything well. It doesn't dissappoint or surprise me; just makes me thankful I am lucky enough to have her each time we pull out of the garage! No matter how long each ride is, it isn't long enough. Dubs

Big Al, I personally like Harleys. I have several friends who ride them, a lot without problems; you for one! I do believe they are more maintenance intensive than most but are beautiful bikes that, properly cared for, will give very good and dependable service. I wish the Honda dealers had the service Harley dealers have. Smoky Mtn. H.D. is absolutely the best. Dubs
