I did two winters in Fairbanks in the early 70's. Thanks Air Force. If I remember correctly, we had -66 below at times and over 120 days in a row below 0. Impressed a southern boy a lot. Never want to play outside when it is cold again.

RP Debbie and I are flying down Feburary 25th for eight weeks. We'll be there through Arizona Bike week. Hopefully we can get a ride going with all of you. My first wife is from Willow Ak. Spent a piece of a winter-about a month-and a piece of a summer up there with my inlaws. Beautiful fantastic country up there but the two seasons you have there do not work for me.  Winter and the 4th of July.   RIDE SAFE. |
