The other day i was looking at the cycle, and tried to clean my rear trunk tail lights.  i tried using Q-tips, even a rag with a pencil in it to reach into the tight nooks, nothing worked.  so, i did the next most logical thing, i took it apart!!  nothing was able to get the elevan + years of gook off.  i tried hand soap, dish soap, car wash, even turtle wax!!  until i tried "Goop" hand cleaner.  here's a before, after shoots;

thankfully my work provides uniforms so i don't have to do laundry, with some of the glues that i've had all over my shirts, that's a good thing!!

i forgot to mention using WD-40 to get road tar off of your paint, that works good too!!

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for boot marks on pipes.  Easy, cheap, and can be kept in a small baggie so it just needs water when you need a quick touch up.  I've tried many other methods, but the Magic Eraser has worked every time, with no scratching.

Goop on clothes when you put em in the washer: smear it on the stains, wash and they are gone..works on fresh oil, grease etc...for blood I've used liquid Dawn dish washing soap, apply to stain, leave overnight, then wash..

Best tar remover I have ever found is Mayonnaise, works better than any aftermarket cleaner I have ever used..(makes me wonder what it does to your insides)

While in the Philippines, had an over 40 Physical done at Clark Air Base, was wearing my summer blues, got a blood test run. On the way out to my ride, I noticed my shirt and pants were soaked in blood. After a two hour ride back to Wallace air station, (figuring I'd have to throw out my clothes) I tried some Dawn on the stains, did the wash the next day and the stains were GONE.

Peroxide lifts blood out of clothing immediatly. Even in dark clothing. Pour it on and it will find the blood and turn it white while it bubbles. Dry with rag and your good to go.

Speaking of hydrogen peroxide. best bug removal out there. Living in Florida, we have the love bug season a couple times a wear, some times so thick, after a 20 mile ride, cannot see out the wind shield.
We put peroxide in a spray bottle and soak them down, let them sit for 15 to 20 min and hose them off.
As soon as it hits the bugs they start to foam up and dissolve.
