Canada has already said they will sell to Red China if the USA refused the pipeline.

Obama defended his decision by blaming Republicans (of course) and then following up by restating how much he hates oil by saying he wants to create American jobs in energy other than oil instead of the pipeline.

According to Obama, if he gets his way (HIS WORDS)  "Energey prices are going to NECESSARILY skyrocket"

IMPEACH OBAMA  (this is no joke)

I was proud to hear Canadian PM Harper's comments hoping that this is resolved soon because of the economic impact to both Canada and the US, but sad, embarrassed, and ashamed that the same logic can't be employed by you know who.

Well what is really stupid and you and I are in the dark about is the fact they already have Keystone I.

This is Keystone II, runs almost side beside one another.

Now that is stupid.

Here is a good write-up from the Heritage Foundation.

Let me look into the crystal ball a bit:
Just my opinion......  no facts to back it up.....  But......

By eliminating drilling..... oh I know that Gulf drilling has been reopened a bit..... but the drill vessels have pretty much left the Gulf , going where the work is, ie. Brazil ( need to keep Soros in business), West Africa....  They will not be back until those plays are complete.

So, what we SHOULD be drilling in the Gulf,  NOW, is the oil we WOULD be using in 4 to 5 years from now.
So that oil is out of the scene....
Stopping the pipeline limits the flow of oil from Canada.

Results are:  Continued reliance on OPEC oil.
Very much increased oil prices due to supply/demand.
When the prices increase to the point that the fine Americans are crying"The government needs to do something"  Look for the government to nationalize the oil companies.
Out of the question???
Look at the auto, bank, and health care industries.

If only governments every where would make decisions for the good of their country instead of playing politics just to pi$$ off the other parties.

You know that oil's not for us boys. Embarrassed If it was the price at the pump would go down, and we all know that not good for business. ???
