Hate the paint, but if it's as advertised otherwise, a good deal.

This smells fuuny.
No contact info? No steady work schedule?
New plugs at 15K? No license plate?
Pretty low price for a low mileage IS.
Hope it's real for someone, but it looks fishy to me

It is listed in the Columbus CL but its actually close to Cleveland, I do suppose listing it in several different cities (although I never checked the Cleveland CL) is quite common.  When I seen this post I thought about checking it out just to satisfy my curiosity until I saw it was over 100 miles from Columbus.  The custom paint kind of looks like spray can paint, I dont think bad paint jobs on a 15K bike is normal,  and the chrome on the exhaust and motor looks bad, probably a salvage title or as much I hate to say a scam.  Ohio CL has had some bad luck with CL users. Applying for a job on CL is not a good thing here.

I bet that color changing paint from a rattle can look better in real life than it does in pictures.

So what's wrong with a salvage title bike at that price? If the bike is straight and just does not have stock paint, what is the problem? I have been riding a salvage title bike for 6 years. The paint is stock color, but new. I changed the plugs at 6,000 miles, mostly because of fouling the old ones before getting the carbs cleaned up. I think someone is gonna get a great deal on an Interstate, if they take the time to look at the bike. By the way, I wouldn't sell my salvage title bike for 4800.00, and I have 36,000 on mine. cooldude

I dont have a problem with a salvage title if it is listed as one.  There were 4 pictures taken and not one of them shows anything more than the rear trunk, a partial pic of the engine and the speedometer.  There is not a picture showing the complete motorcycle, only small parts of it.

All I am saying is if it sounds too good to be true then its probably too good to be true, a 1/2 price I/S looks suspicious to me.

Cleveland to Strongsville = 22.9 mi
Columbus to Strongsville = 128 mi

The I/S is listed on Columbus Craigslist but not on Cleveland Craigslist.  A person would think they would advertise it  in Cleveland but I checked and its not listed.

It may not be as bad as it looks. Pics look like they were taken when the bike was filthy, I've seen pics of bikes/cars, etc that look real good and the rigs are absolute junk. So who knows, could be a deal or not.
