Our primary in South Carolina is today. For several weeks (you have this
to look forward to  cooldude ) we get tons of robo-calls (when the phone
rings we say to each other "it's the president again") and most of the teevee
commercials are nauseating political lying bashing rants... including some of
Ron Paul's.

But some of Ron Paul's political ads are a breath of fresh air...
man I wish all political ads were as much fun as  Ron Paul's good ones. We're
keeping the "Ron Paul Family Cookbook" that we got in the mail a few weeks
ago, it will be a folk icon in ten years  cooldude

Wait till you get to see his "HUD? Gone! BLAMMO!" "Department of Education? Gone! BLAMMO!"
ad... I watch it and laugh out loud (instead of hitting "mute" on the remote) every time it
comes on...

His kind of cuts are what it would take but he couldn't ram that agenda past congress even if he did get elected.  Embarrassed

Yeah, you could pick Ron Paul and his views apart, but his major problem is that Government is a team sport, and he doesn't play well with others. From either party. My thought is that a President Ron Paul would be undercut by Congress at every turn. Would likely be a very tough 4 years for the guy.

I agree with the assessment he would be stymied by congress. so would he attempt to govern (rule) by presidential fiat like we see from Obama?  executive orders are paper not law.

Ron Paul has some good ideas.

And stop bombing everyone in sight is one of them.

Who cares if another country gets the friggn nuke.

They ain't goin to use it.

No matter what our people say and others who are fear mongers.

Paul is right on that one too.

But they have to keep you and I living in fear to further the agenda of the elected elite.

Thats been going on for a while now.

What does everybody want another war,,, like with Iran.

God Help us.

I with Big Al on this one. Russia had nukes for years. We didn't go start a war with them. Live and let live. Bring our boys and girls home, and stop policing the world. We cant afford it, they don't want us there. The middle east will fight among st themselves until the end of time.
