Now that I finally got a lift table, it's time for some maintenance.
2000 std in the house.  I recall somewhere that it's possable to take the rear wheel off without dropping the exhaust.  Am I right or just dreaming?

If you remove your rear shocks, the rear wheel can be raised and lowered around the exhaust as needed for access to the nuts and axle.

Just got done 20 min ago taking it off for the first time.  You don't need to take of the pipes or the fender.  The video say it all take the shocks of take the axle out above the pipes and go from there.  Piece of cake.

Dagnabbit!
Got the wheel off with no problems, splines in good shape too.  Called my dealer for the replacement o rings.  None in stock so they have to order.  No problem, its not like I'm gonna ride this week.  Service manager rides a valc,   and I had tr parts kid check with him.  Gotta work, right?
Wrong!
Yup, two out of the three are wrong.
Good thing its not riding season, or I'd really be ticked!

I do it like like Dag but on the ground with a coupla jacks. Make sure to strap her up real good 'cause I ended up dropping my 97 Valk on top of me with the shocks and wheel off while home alone. (real smart I know).

Managed to get it off me and get her back together. Kept my cool (somehow) and adrenaline helped to muscle her off me. I ain't no Dag.......... Embarrassed

that's specifically why I order the necessary parts weeks or even months in advance. Need I mention that I can't seem to find the said parts when I get around to needing them.

I gotta teach myself how to write better. What I meant was that all the parts that I ordered way in advance I can't find them in the storage room, even though they're there somewhere.
