About forty years ago it was just cool,...now it has true relevance. Think about what they are singing about.http://youtu.be/Rp6-wG5LLqEhttp://youtu.be/hKUBTX9kKEo

Boxer rebellion, the Holy Child. They all pay their rent. But none together can testify to the rhythm of a road well bent. Saddles and zip codes, passports and gates, the Jones' keep. In August the water is trickling, in April it's furious deep.

Yeah, Republicans. Well played, sir! In all seriousness though, the Who are British so I don't think they were singing about any particular party. But if you think the song is anthemic for any of the meatsticks currently fighting to run this country then you're off your rocker. Not a one of them is out for anything other than themselves and their cronies.

I agree withya George, 40 yrs ago it WAS cool, but it was also relevant, as it is today. Oh, btw, it's still cool. If anyone thinks we weren't "fooled" back in 2008, or for that matter 2004, 2000, 1996,1992 and so on, well they just haven't been paying attention.
