What's the tried and true procedure for remounting the reflector?   Double sided tape, epoxy, silicone??

If you are careful when you remove the reflector, the double-sided tape on the back stays on the reflector and pulls away cleanly from the radiator, and you can just re-stick it as it is.  Otherwise, I would find some similar double-sided tape to reattach it with.

I like Sily-cone sealant for those kinds of things.
With both surfaces cleaned well with rubbing alcohol it will hold forever & is actually easy to pull the item off if need be for maintenance or whatever.
A couple of shallow dime size dabs [high/low] will do well.

Epoxy, IMO is too strong and could break the side cover if you ever need to access it's screw again.

Opps!   Too late.  The tape split in two when I removed it.

That's what I was thinking.  I've seen granite counter tops held down with just sily-cone.

Thanks Guys!

I took mine off and threw them away when the fastener got loose under the reflector.  Replaced the stock factener with with a chrome one.

3M body moulding tape from your local parts store would be the correct way. Some lesser tapes don't hold well with cleaners and heat.

I use to work for a company that built fuel tanks for large trucks. We had a double sided tape that held all the labels on. This stuff had to hold up to all kinds of conditions. Well, one of my going away gifts was a roll of this tape. I use it for everything that needs to be stuck down. I have used it to hold bumbers on. Nothing ever comes loose
