I think you're right there T-bird. It was sure looked like Gordon to me.  Did anyone DVR it so they can slow down that part and see if there are any identifying markings on the wheelie Valk?

I Saw it too.

He never misses a chance to wheelie his monster motorcycle.

Now that it is classified as a Hell Road, it has been given imortal status as a road too tough even for

Killboy.com. He and Laurie won't even ride it except in a sports car.

What a road baby, spread my ashes on the overlook when I go.

But I will be buried somewhere else, I will just leave the ashes of burnt motorcycle tread on the Dragon.

This pic is Taken by a man who is afraid to ride the road himself, Killboy.

A little known fact that was let out on the discovery channel.

Just Riding The Many Storms Of Life

« Reply #19 on: January 25, 2012, 07:40:32 PM »

I plan on going to the Dragon this year.  This will be my first time.  Can't decide when though, March, April, or May.  I have a ride planned to see my sister in South Carolina.  I already have a half way decent idea of my route.  I already saw the show, Hell Road.  When I saw the Dragon, I almost killed myself to get to the living room to see and record it.  Thank God for the invention of DVR.  It looks awesome.  Can't wait.  I 20 to Birmingham to see the scooter museum, then the back roads to Cotaco Alabama to my old school, then to Lacy Springs to were we used to live, up to the Dragon then to the Smokeys and then down to Greer SC.  I may also go to the Snake, but not too sure yet on that one.    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

That was interesting to watch. Might have missed the Valk doing the wheelie if I hadn't been watching for it..and I too, wondered if that was Joe driving the lowboy..I'm sure he knows better than most the havoc a big rig causes on that road, so probably not him.

That Interstate on the show had pod lights ....The black one Gordon had did not.I took the first picture out in front of Deal's Gap Store...Gordon pulled the wheelie before I was ready  ???

Lucky 13 , Smokin'joe and Duffy....On the rear bike is Duffy the picture was taken just seconds before he passed me...That bike is also what would become my blue " BADMOJO " several months down the road....Killboy's caption for the picture below was " Team Valkyrie " .

Yeah, interesting.  I would not drive anything with four wheels on most of those Chinese, Tibetan, or South American roads.  I'm not even sure I would walk them.  And the only way I would ride in a bus on them is if I was drugged unconscious and tied down.  LOL

Have yet to ride the Dragon, but that will happen.
