Wow, new bike purrs like a kitten after cleaning all the carbs.
Finally got up the nerve to fix that annoying pop in #3 an found was indeed clogged , slow jet . Clean em all and I can't believe the difference in made in the low end speed. Even sounds like a new bike. I got her with 50k and have put 4k since. Using the tech board as a guide ( rejetting ) I crossed my fingers and pulled the bank. The guide says u don't have to completely remove the bank but I really think it would have been harder to work on. The throttle and choke cables were the only thing to do to remove all the way. The cables were the easy part. I had to remove the plastic cowling behind the fan to remove and it was more of a pain than anything. I didn't mess with changing the slow jets because I was just wanting to see if it would still run after the cleaning. If changing to 38 jets will make it run better yet u won't ever get this smile  off my face. You're opinions and advice always appreciated . I couldn't have done it without this site and all ya'lls help !
One happy camper !!!!!!! Mofla

Way to go Tommy , like we talked about today, I sure would like to do the same thing to my Old Fat Lady ... because ever since my neck surgery last summer and my bike sat up for three months in the garage , I know the jets got alittle plugged up .. lets shoot for my spring break from school to do my carbs ...  Thanks the Geezer crazy2
