Staved off PMS for a little while today

Removed the tank and replaced a string of LEDs under it that had malfunctioned. No big deal and had everything buttoned back up in less than 90 minutes. <foot tapping nervously> Now what?

Man, I'm sick of winter and can't wait to get the kickstand up for a ride. Blasted NE Indiana weather!

For a minute there, i thought that you went for a ride. I was thinking the weather must be different in Ft. Wayne than in New Haven.    At least we can't say that the weather is monotonous.  Thunder, rain, snow, sleet, freezing rain, big temp changes in six hours. 

I'm having the same problem with PMS.  I don't have much wind protection with the 'Strom so my temp requirement went up.

well, you can do like i usually do, and accidently forget something.  this winter i took out my K&N filter to clean it, when i got the fuel tank and everything all put back together i found the gasket that goes on the filter sitting on my work bench!!  after that i went to tighten up my foot peg bracket, then i hear the tell tale sound of "SNAP".  YEP you guessed it, the lousy cast aluminum bracket broke!!  second time that's happened to me too!!  the first time it was under waranty so they sent me a new one, that's why i didn't tighten it so tight the last time!!  

BTW, if anyone's got an extra mounting bracket for a Kuryakyn Ergo foot peg, i'd love to buy it from you!!  part number is 4050 (just need the mounting bracket)

 I rode to work on Friday, only one small icy spot on the end of my block where the idiot has his sump pump coming out at, but other than that all good!   31 deg when i left for work. 40 deg when I rode home.  I guess one advantage to working outside in this weather, is that you're not too far from the point of being dressed to ride in this weather as well.

Ya know, I saw someone out for ride last evening when my wife and I were headed to dinner. Had this white crap not fallen again this morning, I might have been tempted to get her out for a short jaunt.

Alph, if that gasket is still on the work bench I have good news.  The K&N air filter for the Valkyrie doesn't take a gasket.
