"Bitches" has become something of a term of endearment in certain circles. I sometimes greet my friends with "What's up, bitches?" Don't read too much into it.
Kinda reminds me though. I know that some women take offense to the term "broad". As in: "Look at that broad over there." I understand why some would take offense, but where I grew up the term was more of a compliment than an insult, depending on how it was phrased. For instance:
Negative: "That broad with the attitude has been breaking my balls." Compliment: "That Sandy is a tough broad. She can handle herself."
I've heard women refer to themselves with pride as both "Bitches" and "Broads". Nobody wants to be a ho though.

Webster says "Bitch" 1. Female dog. 2. Disgruntled Female.
I had to look it up once when I used the term "Bitches" and one of my sisters took offence. I meant it as a term of endearment. She didn't see it that way.
She and I don't see things much the same anyways.

Yeh... OK... I've got it now... uhh... I think... bitch good... ho bad... except I'm just wondering how long I'd be in the hospital if I called my wife a bitch... compliment and term of endearment, of course.

Heck I call the wife bitch all the time! She returns the guesture to! Kinda our thing. I'll use it on my partner at work but she knows we are playing. As for Iowa women, they are the hottest. I never want to leave the State when we head west. Every stop is jaw dropping.

I don't try to copy my speech from rap.
I've been around awhile to have more respect for women unless they show me otherwise.
Yep, I'm an old geezer and proud of it.

To both Waynes....Solo1 and SE, I'm of the same mind. I don't care what reasoning is used to justify it, the term "bitch" in reference to anything but a female animal is anything but complimentary. If I were to use that toward my wife or any of my daughters, they would be hurt beyond measure. Having said that, I fully understand the "street" usage of the term. Doesn't make it any less revolting.
Like Solo1 said....I'm getting old also.

I did not delete my post, "junior". But thanks for the confirmation. Well..... please confirm for the rest of us that saw it as to what happened to that post? If it's the one I am thinking of, I don't see the quote of that post either... and can only assume that Willow saved you further embarrassment and pulled your ass outta the fire..... but I hope he gave you an appropriate ass spanking and chewing as well. I am surprised you were not put in time out..... As for the term "Bitches".... I think it all depends on the age group, the people in the conversation, and their relationship to each other. The younger folks seem to be the common users of that slang.

guess i'm just an uncouth, unrefined, prickly old redneck. it was pretty easy for me to see that junior was using the term as a complement. lol someone told me that my valk was sick the other day, took me a little while to process that one.

well if you go to the frozen meat section at your local piggly wiggly or in SE case the street market. that poor girl pushed out a young frozen turkey (translation for SE) (half of a smoked pitbull dog) without pain killers that like for us males having a bone(and i dont mean your willy) compleatly severed from ones body (pain scale)
talk about tuff
Huh? ??? I guess I don't understand this post? I'm very confused. Hoser
