Yeah, poor lane discipline.

As sad as it is to say it happens everyday some folks just can't ride or drive for that matter  Sad

I'm blessed to ride with some great riders in the local " Wild Bunch " I ride with.

Not taking any sides here, but it seemed to me that the camera bike was riding in the oncoming lane to keep the other bikes in the camera.

Not taking any sides either, but it seemed to me that the camera bike was riding in the oncoming lanes because he's a dumbass.

The guy with the camera rode on the other side more than his own side for most of the ride. Sad

Sad thing is, he'll probably keep riding like that until he kills himself or someone else. I know a few who ride like that and they don't take well to constructive criticism. I won't ride with them or any like them.

Right Side Left Side.

You do it right and the others don't It does not matter.

Death is waiting, let's see who blinks.

Thunder Dome is the new name for the Dragon.

You know Mel Gibson in a post apocalyptic earth and they settle the differences in Thunder Dome.

Two men enter one man leave.

Killboy Photo will no longer ride the Dragon on a Two Wheeler, only in a car or truck and he makes his living there.

I wonder why.

I rode the Dragon this past September on my Shadow 750... fastest I rode was about 45, but I went as slow as 20 on some of the switchbacks....

I did almost get plowed twice by some dumb-asses crossing into my lane.  I am thinking about taking the fat girl down there next summer.

I did that in early October...

No, I did NOT ride fast (I think 35 was my fastest point)...

Yes, I DID stay in the right lane the entire time!!   cooldude

My wife still slapped the back of my helmet a few times for getting a little too close to the yellow line a few times...  Grin   But I didn't cross it, nor did my tires ever touch it...

She likes to keep me on the straight and narrow.   cooldude

So these guys go out of their way to ride a road known for its curves, and then camera guy tries to STRAIGHTEN as many of them as he can!  uglystupid2
At least they don't seem to be speeding (by much anyway).
They probably fit right in when they got to Daytona.

Right Side Left Side.

I counted 57 center line violations and then quit counting at about 10 minutes.\

Then people wonder why the state troopers are thick as fleas on that road.

Over the years I have run that 11 miles about 20 times.     Every run, I saw a Trooper or 2.   I'd say the Valkyrie was the best ride on it.   My Harley Electra Glide was a disaster.

Not really.....They  stay way to close to the center line and the leader cuts a couple of corners as well. However Mister camera guy is an out of control moron.

Stopped about 2:50 in.  Boring.  The camera guy didn't actually come up on any cars so I'm guessing he was keeping an eye on the opposite lane.  I guess I don't need anyone to critique, today.

If they come across the line it does not matter if you are doing it right and on your side.

You are hit, that person that came over is hit.

Both lose even though you are doing it right.

Get it now Gryphon.

I like G-forces. Even on a two lane highway I see four lanes. On an inside corner I set up in the outside lane and try to carve the optimal line through the corner with out cutting into the inside lane. Just my way of making the most of the twisty's!  coolsmiley

And yes they are not doing allot for our sport.  tickedoff

When I ride the one disipline I try to keep is to never cross the center line.  Mentally, I consider it a crash just as if I ran off the shoulder on the other side.

I pose a question : I f you do not stay in your lane are you really riding ' The Tail of the Dragon ? '

In reality you are not riding the 318 curves that are there so to say you rode the " Dragon " is not true is it ?

I rode it many times, not as fast as others but stayed in my lane the whole way.
And ground down my pegs in the process.
