Navy SEALS have a new enemy, imposters! yeah it'd be cool to be a seal but would you really want to pi$$ off one of the (if not THE) elite special forces in the world? the website called stolen valor has exposed as many as 35,000 fake seals. some people need to get a life  tickedoff

Their punishment should be a week at SEAL'S Hellweek  Angry  Evil
Repeated as many times as possible or until they get serious breakage in there body.  2funny As ex Navy(not a seal) it is a VERY elite club. ANYBODY that says/thinks that they have done something such as serve in any Military branch and they haven't-they be lower than whale $hit scum sucking worthless plague on humanity and they just generally piss me off. One of them will wander into the WRONG bar one night-start mouthing off to the WRONG person-and will find out EXACTLY how good or not his health insurance REALLY is. Wink Or how good or not his burial insurance be. cooldude RIDE SAFE.

I'll second that, wanna walk the walk try  just the  training.
the training is incredible, not something I could've handled in my prime.

got a buddy in ORYGUN his best friend in high school joined the teams. they find out your weaknesses and exploit them. his bud loved to run he lettered in track all four years in high school, whenever he screwed up in seal training they made him do abs, flutter kicks and crunches while everyone else was running miles. 2funny

I have a nephew in the Rangers who got his C I B before he was 21. Wink He gave his dad a Ranger ball cap and a Ranger T-shirt.  Roll Eyes And neither one said father or dad of a Ranger.  Sad Told him be very careful where you wear that shirt and cap as he NEVER served. uglystupid2 Told him that one day someone will be asking you questions you can't begin to answer. tickedoff And with wrong or no answeers it could get ugly quickly. Cry And no i don't know-i lost contact with him after his wife died. RIDE SAFE.

I've been presented with baseball caps from the crews of several aircraft carriers... from Warrant Officer to Captain... great display models... I'd never wear them... for the reasons expressed... I haven't done what they have done... and would never want to infer otherwise.

I am a ex-navy nuke.  (Clearly NOT a combat type of ANY sort).

The SEALS are unique.  Most of them could beat someone's ass real easy and efficiently, but they are trained, screened and pounded that that ain't the way to do it.  Most of them would never confront someone like that.  And they can recognize one another at a glance...  There is something in the way they carry themselves.

Now... I am NOT saying that impersonating one wouldn;t get your ass kicked.  It would... just probably not BY one.  It'd be by some other service person doing the SEALS light work FOR them.  They carry our mail on foreign soil.  I'll be glad to do their light work here at home in the bar... tickedoff 2funny

My brother was a UDT SEAL.  He certainly would never take a cotton to someone impersonating a SEAL
