Remove the windshield and fairing.  Large plug on back of instrument cluster lower right side.  I don't think you can run bike without it plugged in as alot of wiring goes thru that plug.

You remove the RH side inner fairing cover (the speaker cover), then you can reach around behind the cluster. Maybe pull the cover back first. I also believe there is one clip.

If you haven't removed those covers yet, be prepared to have trouble. Most have 1 or more of the mounts spin in the plastic, because the screw wont come loose.
