A co-worker bought a Valk I/S from JPSonnier (Hard 6) a couple months ago and has not joined the VRCC because he needs a handle. Help me out here and lets give Ronnie Roberts a handle. Here is my suggestion: Ramblin' F6 Ron. What do ya think?

Too long and the F6 is kinda' forced in. Like calling you "Texas F6 Ranger".
Ramblin' Ron would be better. But if we knew more about the guy, it would be easier to come up with something unique. Like "Second Hand" because Hard 6 had it first. Or it may be "Third Hand" by now.
Not sure you can really give someone a handle without knowing them. RainMaker came to me because of scheduling rides to end droughts. Bitshifter became Dipstick after the problems with the engine.

Ron needs to think of something that is special or meaningful to him. When I first joined the VRCC I was using my email address for my handle so he doesn't need a special name to join, he can change it when the right one comes to him. Vermithrax was the name of the dragon in the movie Dragonslayer which was one of my favorite fantasy movies. Since I ride a dragon now I thought it was appropriate.
What’s important is the joining and the camaraderie; the handle will come to him eventually.

In the "real" mc world, your handle is assigned by others, usually for some endearing quality in your personality or a chronically reacquiring thang you do or maybe a physical characteristic. We just lucked out that Jim has been able to live up to "GodFire". "Sly" makes me nervous for Godfire, but I am sure he is up to the challenge. If I ever get my son's mom's name taken off my chest, you could have "Wanderer", but I would probably have to start going more direct routes to destinations and size down on the "women in every town" thang. What kind of work are you doing now, TR? Did you transfer with your gov't. job? Hey to Simone and Amy's folks too. Bring RonnieBob around, hide and watch! ~Jeff Latty, Lat, Dad...

How many other "unreal" riders are out there?

A biker name( handle, which is actually a trucker's call name) can come from anyone, a friend, something that happened to you ( like Guard Rail, which explains itself) or you can pick your own. I noticed most people just use their real name ( in riding clubs, not biker clubs) we worked on a guys bike and he had a dead mouse in his air filter, so we named him "Rattman")
I got my name from a friend because of the "Hollywood" logo on the back of the leather jacket I had on) So, he can just pick something he likes, or someone can give him a name. H

I started out using my email as a handle, or road name, Aurox. And just recently was assigned a new one by another group I ride with.
It seems twice now I have gone on a ride the day before the ride was supposed to actually take place, so they have named me 'Early Bird'. It took two years of riding with the group before I did something memorable.

I was given my name by the Leader of the cow town group because I love knifes and always carry about 6 with me all the time I have all shapes and sizes because of my work I use them a lot ,so the name Blade stuck ,my wife Handel is thunder because of her pipes on her Harley ,that 883 sounds like a drag car on the starting line ,that 883 has a great low end but she can't leave me on the Valkyrie ,Blade

The clues were all there.....
Texas Ranger needs a handle for his friend.
This is a slam dunk.
His handle should be Kimosabe
