Sorta rings home for me.

I bought a new '89 Toyota SR5 X-Cab 4x4.
In '99 I decided to sell it. Through 10 years all I put into it besides regular maintenance was 1 [yes "One"] set of tires and at point of sale the clutch had just started slipping with 248k miles on the clock. It was still in excellent shape after 10 years. Probably because I took just as good of care of it as I do my 12 year old valk.

The 2 guys that bought it claimed that all they did was buy Toyata trucks and ship them to Peru to the coffee feilds. Yeah right, my guess is my truck is still running tough, but in the Poppy fields instead with a 50cal. mounted in the bed.  Toot toot...  laugh

Some years ago, friends drove a Nissan Murano to Costa Rica.  They found that  Muranos  were the vehicle of choice,  and went for top dollar, there. They sold theirs, bought airline tickets back to the US, bought two more Muranos, drove them down to CR and never came back.

Sure wish they'd swing by my house and want my old work truck. I have a 95 T100 SR5 4X4 with about 275K on it. I has been treated rough body wise, but runs good. Sure wish they wanted it for about $3K...... coolsmiley
