Sorta rings home for me.
I bought a new '89 Toyota SR5 X-Cab 4x4.
In '99 I decided to sell it. Through 10 years all I put into it besides regular maintenance was 1 [yes "One"] set of tires and at point of sale the clutch had just started slipping with 248k miles on the clock. It was still in excellent shape after 10 years. Probably because I took just as good of care of it as I do my 12 year old valk.
The 2 guys that bought it claimed that all they did was buy Toyata trucks and ship them to Peru to the coffee feilds. Yeah right, my guess is my truck is still running tough, but in the Poppy fields instead with a 50cal. mounted in the bed. Toot toot...
