Hi,

Anyone know a good Valk mechanic in the Los Angeles area?

My 98 has a bad low speed stumble and needs a carb clean/adjust/sync.

I really don't want to go to a dealer, but I do want someone who knows Valkyrie inside and out.

Any independent guys out there?

Thanks!

The best one in your area is BigBF from Phoenix, AZ.

He has a lot of writeups on how to do things and they include lots of pictures.

He goes to every InZane and sets up his work tent for the duration of the get together..

He is pretty busy most of the time and you will need an appointment.

He may be contacted here.

http://www.bigbf.com/

You will have to email or PM him.     He doesn't hear and or speak.   Hell of a nice guy and he won't try to sell ya something in a repair that you don't need.

Before you just take it to a dealer, add a full can of your favorit flavor of carb cleaner to a 1/2 tank of gas, and drive it around town in low RPM (high gear and slow speed).

Seafoam, Techron, Berryman's B-12, and ?

If it is still happening, with no improvement, then take it to a shop.
