As I'm planning to attend InZane with a great group of other Ohio riders, I am THINKING about going to visit my brother in El Paso after InZane, as I did after the Colorado rally. My ever-thoughtful wife is a bit concerned about my riding alone the extra 1000 miles to see him, so I told her I would at least ask if any of the Texas or New Mexico riders would be headed back in the general direction of El Paso so I could have company at least part of the way. I see there are lots of you Texans attending, but I have very limited knowledge of the geography of Texas as to which cities are where except for the very large ones. Thanks for any replies. I know I'm on my own for the ride home to Ohio, but that doesn't bother me.

If it's any help in terms of getting your hands on the distance, El Paso is halfway between Dallas and Los Angeles.  It's a fer piece.

Yeah, RainMaker, I remember that from the last time I was there after the Colorado rally and had a very long ride back to northeast Ohio. At this point I'm just in the "thinking about it" phase. Thanks.

I doubt you will have any problems riding along at least with one or more of us DFW riders.  Not sure of any New Mexico riders though.  So far I only see one who is registered.

If I don't go to Inzane, I might just ride out to El Paso with you. I would spend the night there and ride back the next day. I'll know for sure as we get closer to July.    cooldude
