I had a delivery in the middle of the night the other day started getting that tell-tale scratchy back of the throat feeling. it's been 3 days and I pulled out the wimpy card today and went back to sleep after delivering in San Antonio. got to get up at 3AM to make a p/u in Bryan TX, I slept pretty much all day hope I'm up for it. man I never get sick (well almost never) and being sick 1200 miles from my house really sux!

HEALTHY dose of your whiskey of choice and every blanket you've got. I know I know, you're in a truck. Hole up somewhere and make sure you drink the evidence....

Well, if your cold isn't any better, at least your boots will slip on effortlessly.

3 1/2 weeks ago I came down with a cold. I tried every one of Grandma's remedies and nuttin helped or worked.
Don't remember where I had read it a few years ago, but it was the Vick's on bottom of feet and socks, then hit the bunk.
Okay, tell me I'm full of sheet on it. AND I'll tell ya with a straight face looking right into your eye and say It worked, and with my COPD, that was worth the damn smell in the bed........... As Strider would say, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, life is good. pass the Apple Pie.

Tom, the Vicks on the feet is older than any of us on here....and it works. I can remember my mother also rubbing it on my chest before going to bed. They made me sleep in a separate bedroom during thos times as I recall.
