We had to move this little Crape Myrtle from one side of the building to the other side for a new planting we are doing......I used a mid-sized Kubota backhoe to dig around this root ball to start with, and then I had another Crew Leader bring the other backhoe in to undercut the root ball.....it had an extended boom on it....comes in very handy......I had a minute to take a couple of pics......darn thing fought us, but we won and got it moved.....these trees are very tough and should be just fine......took us all day to Get-R-Done though....it'd have been easier to have planted a B&B, but the Boss wanted to save this one.....

I don't blame him for wanting it transplanted. That shrub is probably 20+ years old. You just can't find one like that at a nursery!

We have several myrtles up our driveway, but none of them have grown into that size. Maybe one day. Luckily, we like them where they are. Cool pics to share.
