the main reason is I got thrown off my horse.. broke my back and rotated my hip.. I tried EVERYTHING known to man to make myself comfortable on my 2 valks.. the biggest problem was when trying to use the hwy pegs my hip just wouldnt go along with my legs having to be so splayed out to get around the motor. if it werent for that I would still be doin wheelies and burnouts, screwin with V twinkies and a bunch of other Tomfoolery..so I found a bike that fits me better and I am enjoyin toolin around on a 1000 Vstrom..I do miss that blower tho..

Well Clark... Don't tell me why ya don't like the Valk... cus I know you like the Valk.  What ya don't like is the situation that makes you not able to ride the Valk.
Understandable by all, I'm sure. I really hope the Strom inables you to ride in the wind comfortably.  And if so, I'm glad for ya and enjoy the Strom.  Of course, stick around... cuz deep inside... ya can't help but love the Valk.. cooldude

I hope you got rid of your horse, as it is evident you can't ride a horse either.

Clark,

I agree 100%. Having to spread your legs that wide and far to use traditional highway pegs mounted to the engine guard is very uncomfortable for me too. Thank God I was able to score a set of Mick-O-Pegs as they make all the difference in the world. The Mick-O-Pegs are VERY comfortable and the relationship of my hips,  legs and feet when using the Mick-O-Pegs is fine.

All the best,

Mark

That is just cold-blooded. Evil

Pink Diamond, yea I recognize that pun. Here in Texas we treat horses and Valkyries the same, ride'um hard and put'um up wet and try not to wind up on the bottom side of either one. Like a horse, if you get thrown off, you get back on for comfidence building. Spread you legs and get on the Valkyrie, I bet you will enjoy it, even with a little pain.

So,does that mean you do not like horses either, or women or bicycles or.....? ?  I still love good chilli but it irritates my ulcer and made me fart once  Cheesy        You have to refuse to sit in the wheelchair, it might get comfortable and your shoes will last longer but this cowboy aint sittin in one!
