.....had a great day...started out having breakfast at our favorite hangout in town...Grayling Restaurant....after Chili spilled the beanz to the waitresses that it was my BD they bought out a big ol hunk of home made German chocolate cake...with a candle on top....and sang me happy birthday infront of the wole dang place....now I been eyeing that German chocolate everytime they placed a freshly baked one the counter...for the last 5 years...and I swore I was gonna break down one day and have me a hunk.....so having a big ol hunk for breakfast on my BD was alright with me ! .....then Chili took me to the big city....Traverse City...for the day....we wandered round and took in the sights...then she took me to dinner at my favorite steak joint...Boones Steak House.....got me the NY Strip and crab leg platter....thats a big ol 13 oz NY strip steak...RARE....with a BIG ol pile of snow crab legs leanin off one side of it.....we pigggggggedddddd out ! ....I was stuffed when Chili tole the waitress that it was my BD...and she goes ...well...that entitles you to either a free sundae or cheesecake...I went for the cheese cake with Fresh strawberries and a nice steamin cup of coffee....she brings out this HUGE piece of cheese cake smothered with fresh strawberries ....and two forks.....well....Chili and I made short work of that lil puppy....and if I thought I was stuffed before.....they damn near needed a wheel barrel to wheel me outta there.... .....plus...Chili is buying me these..super sweet....Kuryakyn Scythe mirrors for the State....all in all...a great BD.....thanks to the incredible woman that loves me so damn much..... http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.ProductDetail/IMID/1460 |
