Arkansas Residents (Eureka Springs)

Does anyone know if the Smoke-House Cafe is still operational in Eureka Springs. Ate there a few years ago and was looking forward to having another one of those giant biscuits for breakfast during Inzane. Last time I visited, sounded like they were on very tough times and perhaps cutting back. Just checking if any locals have any idea if they still are open. Thanks

I saw google and yahoo both, sometimes they aren't so fast to update businesses when they go bankrupt or close. I did see some contact information. Guess I could give it a call.

I looked the Smoke-House Cafe up and called them and there number has been discounted so i am taking that they are closed

Not to side-track this thread but I have a Arkansas question also ?  Is Arkansas a helmet state ?  I did google this and I think not for 21 and older however I would always see this "appeals court  " when doing the search

Smokehouse is gone... I tried stopping in last week. It's part of a large chunk of property available at one of the town's gateways.

No Whitecastle in Eureka or Arkansas.  I was in New Orleans last month and had to stop in at the one on Bourbon St... good stuff!

Also no helmets required... been that way for a good while now... hope it stays that way too, though I do like to protect my noggin while on the road.

Missouri is a helmet state tho',and sometimes it's hard to tell which state your in when wandering thru' the beautiful Ozarks. Might want to have one handy just in case.

I'm thinkin out in the country has to be at least ONE place down there that has good biscuits and gravy. Iffin there ain't agood plce fer B & G  i'll still be at inzane but i just might be a tad pouty. No promises but when it warms up a bit more i'll make it a day trip and see whats available on the  biscuits and gravy front. RIDE SAFE.

Thanks, I'll try and check it out at Inzane, anything is better than having Joe drag us to Micky D's every morning for a stale biscuit

Sounds like a plan, I'm always open to try new places for some B and G. Let us know if you find a place worth having breakfast at.

Reb-i'll give er the old Navy try. Right here where i live a little place called Fellers(no affiliation no profit yada yada yada)puts out some real fine biscuits and gravy. And yet i wonder why i'm 20-25 pounds overweight. RIDE SAFE.

To be honest theirs not a lot of great places to eat in eureka springs. We have been going their every year in oct. for 15 years. Their are a couple we do like, theirs a mexican restaurant down town on 23, the autumn breese going south on 23 our favorite, order the chocolate souffle with ice cream (to die for), theirs Ermilio's Italian restaurant in the scenic route thru town on white st., and a couple places that are pretty good for breakfast on hwy 62,  and the harley bar on 62 has great ribs, other than that the food isnt great but ok, You never know though they change them their often, they are bought and sold frequently. I hope to make it for the weekend but I'm starting a new job and dont really know if I can.

If you're talking InZane here it runs from Monday to Friday with no weekend.
