Time to go run down the mail man/lady.    Our regular is a male, but he has a lady substitute.     She is a nice looking older lady.

I bought a Ford Pick-up and been lurking and learning on that website for a change. Still visit here and will do so more once I get the truck all sorted out which will be very soon.

Tell Lori the pie baker, we still think about her and her pies.

I had one of those one day.

Was setting in the truck in the parking lot and some stupid bastard broadsided me.      Dat apple was a beech to clean up.

They wanted to charge him with DUI, but somehow he only blew a 0.02.    Had to be a 0.08 to charge him.

So his insurance  totaled my truck and paid me off.    Then I had to start all over on converting a 51 Chev 5 window pickup into another hotrod.    Got the engine, 6 cylinder Corvette with Fenton headers and 3 side draft carbs, a Vega 4 speed and a late model rear end out of a Caprice, and disc brakes off of a Camaro in it, and got tired of working on it.

Son sold it for me to a buddy of his, 6 months later, he rolled it and got tossed out.   He survived about 48 hours.   Had he of lived, he'd of been a vegtable.   Decided no more Hot Rods that I'd be selling.   The Chevy Trike is the last of any type Hot Rod, and I don't plan on selling it.

Not really, it was an old 51 Chev 3 window and he kind of moved the body on the frame a little bit.       The right door gave me a pretty good dimple on the elbow.

My door popped open and dumped my fat ass on the street.     NO seat belts in those old trucks.          Plus it put a nice twist in the frame.

I grabbed stuff off of it before the Insurance Company hauled it away.    It went straight to a salvage yard.

nom nom, Pecan Pie.  Actually is my favorite. Hard to get a good one that is not all sugary.  Love it when the middle is like a thick custard and plenty of pecans scattered across the top and toasted just right.  Hate the ones that are like syrup and sprinkled pieces of pecan.

mom's pecan pie has pecan all the way through from top to bottom.

It is rich, so that is the reason she will only fix me one once a year.

There is not a bite you can take without a pecan in it.  You can cut a bite, and split it, each 1/2 will have a pecan.   It is nice and creamy fresh out of the oven, but I like to let it cool down and then tear into it.

No RV, them suckers are priced out of my ballpark.

Also, found out it is almost imppossible for me to get in one.

I'd have to find one that laid down in the front for easy access, step in and push button to raise it.   Me and stairs don't mix.
