We might not make it by 2013, but we will make it.

So start posting every time ya log on, even if it is just to say HI.

I'm going after MGM with a RoadSmith kit Saturday.   I tried to buy a I/S trunk off of Evil-Bay and the cheapest one I could find was over $1,000 and it did not have some lower inner liner.      So, I made MGM into a Honda-Davidson.    I really like the looks of it in a picture on another model bike, but it is the same body.    I think the Green/Creme combination will look sharp.

Another thing I like is the opening it from the right side of the bike.    If should break down, and pull over.    I'm looking a traffic not standing behind it with my kahunas hanging out.      That is one reason a LEO motor officer departs the ride on the right side.   It is also an LEO will walk around to the passenger side to talk to the driver.

Where is Moon_shooter aka Mike?

I is in Shenandoah for the Buttry mission. I had thought I'd posted something about it on this thread the other day and it's not here.

Anyway, came down Monday night (36 degrees, 30 mph wind and 3 hour ride with 27 flags and poles strapped to the back seat. Never to be done again.) I am staying for the duration. Had the escort from the airport to the funeral home on Tues. Had the visitation tonight and we'll have the funeral tomorrow.

Larry the Flagman is here. He, along with a bunch of folks from Shenandoah and some PGR folks put up over 1700 flags on Tuesday. He said tonight that there are 3 miles of flags from the funeral home to the church to the cemetery. Spaced about 12' apart. And nearly the entire cemetery is lined with flags down nearly every lane. And there is alot of lanes in this cemetery.

Buttry kid is from a family with 13 siblings. Many adopted and special needs kids. Tough, tough days ahead for them.

Staying at Shenandoah Inn and Suites. Highly recommend the place if you need a place to stay here.
A small diner (Al's diner) across the street with the World's best biscuits and gravy. At least in the top 3 IN THE WORLD. Cannot possibly be healthy for you it is so good.

Had some time and zipped down to Mound City Mo. for lunch with my son. He's in KC. Worked out well for a spur of the moment thing.

Well time to wrap things up for the night. Early start and long day tomorrow.

I used to get the PGR missions, but haven't had one since about March this year.

Guess I'll have to go get on the PRG board and see what happened to my notifications.      Bear wasn't sending them out was he?

You are absolutely correct on his Biscuits & Gravy.     Ate many a meal of them in there.

Bear is no longer State Captain. Steve Cox is now State Captain. Send him an email. Should be on the PGR site and let him know you need to get the notifications.

Me too, in real live status.   All I have heard is hoe good it looks with the Harley Trunk on it.

I'll see if I can get that picture off of their website.   Hang loose for  few.

Best as I can do.    Rear end body and trunk look the same.

I just got a call that it won't be ready till Monday, and the only time I can go get it is on Saturday's when our shop is closed.

Now it looks like it will be DECEMBER 1, before we can go, I sure as hell don't want to be on the road Thanksgiving weekend, damn the luck no how.

They ordered a rack to hold the trunk and of course Hardley Diversion did not send the right one.    No one bothered to check the part # when it arrived in the mail.   I told him to have them overnight it in and he said that wouldn't work out, as the correct one was in the mail somewhere.  So here I set twiddling my damn thumbs.

Don't get me started as I am one pissed off old timer right now.

Yeah, I know that, but we are also supposed to have a Club meeting to make some plans for next riding season.     They set this date just for me as I was supposed to get my ride back the 17th.    That was the original meeting date, was this Saturday.

Oh well, I'll just blow off a little steam and then head for the hills.   LOL.

I solved the problem.

The kids are picking it up Dec 1, then when they get home the son will put the manual Pingle and the Dan Marc switch on, then will bring it home.    I'll have his Pickie up truck in the meantime.

That way if he wants to go up Friday night, so as to get the Trike early then head to the Mall of America and do some Xmas shopping, before heading home.   If the weather or the roads are shitty, we move the date back another week.

It works for me...........    LOL.....

RJ,

Roadsmith makes some nice stuff. The HD trunk you got, does it have the big lights in the corners? in other words, is an an Ultra Trunk, or a Classic? I have a Classic trunk on my Road Gide. It's pretty dirty on this picture, but we had spent about three days, and 1400 miles in rain and 35-40* temps.

Hay,

Is the Wing available for me to use for GOTF

Looks now that I will have to fly and miss out on my big southwest adventure

Missing work on the 15th will cost me my biggest account so I have to fly out and back  tickedoff

On the plus side I will now have time for both Inzane and Voai rides

OSS, I wish I had your bad luck.

I have a Insurance Policy for my wife,  that takes care of AFTER Medicare.

If I don't take the stupid Silver Script, the policy Premium is $1,800 and if I have SC then it is $1,040.    As far as my 3 Insurance Policies are concerned, Primary is the wife policy from work, then our Medicares, and then our SC Policies.   So any balance I have to pay I was sending it on top the SC Policy.     They denied it saying they were Primary to everyone else.....

Tried to explain it to them, they no listen, they set in their ways.

So, I'm thinking of flying to Phoenix and having a set down conversation with them on their turf.

Also, I get 2 statements each month, one for me and one for her.   They come 2 days apart so I have combined them in the same envelope, 2 statements and 2 checks, WITH Policy #'s on the check.

Got a registered letter Saturday saying if I don't pay her missed payment and her current statement, they will notify Medicare to dis enroll her.

Man these stupid MF'ers are getting my blood boiling.   I guess that is what happens when you ship the opening of envelopes and recording payments in India.       I even have the 2 checks that show they cleared my bank.

Well in the morning, I'm going to mail them this unheard of double payment and a copy of the front of the check from my Bank showing where they were cashed.

thanks Jimmy   We are working on it but she will have been in Dallas like 10 days prior
for business so probably just me this year again.  She and I rode an 06 Wing in Alaska this summer so she  likes the Wing as much as the Valk  It was even the same color as yours

RJ  banks and ins co both suffer greed big time. I have had 2 clients that were sued by Chase for foreclosure
BOTH MONTHS AFTER they had sold their homes and paid the mtg off in full.

Chase paid $ to the 1st (lots of it) for their humiliation pain and suffering
The 2nd settled for a verbal apology.

If it were were you I would hope you would want the $ and the apology as well as a picture of your boot on Chase's butt

I asked  the Builder to take a couple of pics and send them to me.

If he does, I'll get em on the Internet Photo storage and post it them or whatever he sends.

It might be later this afternoon as I have to go have a 2-D Echo, what the hell ever that is this afternoon.

I think it is an medically induced stress test.

They could probably just take the test as SilverScript has got my heart rate rather high right now.

Grand daughters are fine now.    Yesterday mom and I put (financed) a skating party for the one's birthday and invited 10 kids and parents, for pizza, skating and mommy's home made cup cakes.   Daughter makes a hell-u-va good cupcake.

Little one, (her birthday) is just learning to skate, her big sister has her own skates and did a marvelous job.    Brings back the old days to grandpa, when he used to work at the skating rink on weekends and 3 evenings a week.    We didn't have anyone around then to try and teach us, we had to learn on our own.    If I don't brag to big, I was a very good skater.   Our job was to help customers to put their skates on for them, replace wheels, bearings and etc., work the counter, help people up who have fell down, the ones who fell hard.    The youngest one took a hard hit on her poor little under protected bottom a couple of times, she was slow once on getting up and a veteran skater stopped and helped her up and to the side lines so she could get to us.    Found out as we were leaving he worked there.

Shortly after everyone had been told the Birthday Parties were over and to please get off the rink.   They had 6 parties going on.  The Pizza's were fixed at the rink.  About 40 Roller Derby people took over the rink and that did bring back some furious reminders from days afar.

Just read in te paper, that their will be a roller Derby in town this coming weekend.     Might just have to take mom to that.

We both skated but never together.    Didn't find out she was a skater till after we were married.

Sheet, just got off the phone, the youngest grand daughter is sick so grandpa has to go babysit till mommie gets home from work.   At least she can and does get to the bathroom to upchuck.   Damn the luck no how for da wittle one.    She just doesn't seem to be able to toss it.   Mommy said she had a Dr's appt that I have to take her to today.

Her daddy and stepmom are vacationing in Cancon, Mexico this week.

The bastard.     Ooops, I shouldn't have said that.
