Let me know when that happens.  Usually in the summer when you are in the 100's so are we, but with less humidity than you have.

I've sweat my arse off a few times in this weather.

However, not as hot as it was one time over in the Florida Panhandle.   Was standing motionless in a parking lot at Ice Cream joint and the water was running off of me like I was under a shower head.

Maybe you can get out and ride the new trike on Saturday?  That thing came out very nice.  I really like the HD trunk on it painted to match the Valk colors.
Good job!

Weather here in Central Florida has been great  -  especially after just coming down from New England on Monday afternoon.   cooldude  Other than having way too much stuff to do transitioning from the North to the South I have been doing as much outdoor stuff as I can. Riding the Valk, morning bicycle rides, and working outdoors, etc!

What sucks is that on December 4th, I am flying to Chicago for a sales meeting, and then on the 6th, back to New England for a bunch of business visits. Won't return to Florida until December 15.  Sad  My frozen bones will be ready by then.

One thing, staying busy like this is keeping my mind off what happened with our grandson. They say that a busy mind and body helps. Maybe that's why I'm doing what I am? Still breaks my heart to think about it, but time will help dull the pain.  Cry

Just checked the weather.   53 today, 58 tomorrow, and 65 on Sunday.

So Sunday you might find a Green/Cream streak on the road.

Now I got to try and make reservations for O2 to be supplied to me at InZane.

Supposewdly there is a provider on the Island.   Vell, we will see.

Well, pissssss. I was gonna get my 3rd week of vacation this year and they changed the rules. We used to get all our vacation up front but now we have to accumulate it.  And you don't get the extra week until after the anniversary date.  Well, at least I have a job.  In pretty part of the country too!

My job (Con Ed) just changed management health and sick pay policy. Previously we got two weeks sick pay for every year of service. As of January 1, we get 10 days full pay, 2 days no pay the 80% for 10 days, the 70%. Thats some stuff!

Sure glad I'm not the payroll clerk who has to keep track of all that.

Don't sound like it was too well thought out before it was implemented.

I just got finished with airing up the tires and checking out the bike.   Supposed to get up to 58-60 degrees Sunday.  I just bought a Vega flip up.  I got tired of the Nolan not having enough room for my chin.  Gotta try it out.

The Strom is willing.

I'm going for a ride.

Be careful, son got into a sheet load of fog coming back from Mpls, and he said it was headed East.

MGM is in his 2nd garage for a few days till he gets the Pingle and Dan Marc switch installed.   Then he can come home and if it is fairly nice, ole dad here will get in some wind.

Son rode him around a big block when he got home and all I could get out of him was SSWWEET.   He has a bad spot in the driveway, where they cut down a tree and never filled it properly, cement cracked and dropped about 8 or 9 inch's in the middle.    He said he hit it like he would on his little bike and it would jump up on him.   He said MGM went over it like it wasn't there.

Yeah, it was very foggy here this AM.

I'll ride in the afternoon.  Going to church in the AM.

Good deal on MGM!   I hope that you can make Inzane next year.  Wisconsin shouldn't be that far.

Mark might make it as he's tying the knot in June.   I doubt if I'll come even tho it isn't that far.

Not riding a Valk makes a difference.

I always permanently park em for the winter when the snow flies.

I've parked them too many seasons too quick and lost out on some riding days.

At my age, ain't going to let that happen.

I wish I had that option, but my current winter storage requires riding through my side yard back to the shed. If it rains, I either need to wait for it to dry, or freeze.  Too many times, last winter it rained, and then snowed before it froze, and I ended up with the Valk up front in the garage all      winter. Not a bad thing, but it sucks scraping snow at 4 in the morning.

That is the reason I poured some concrete to my back garage after the 1st winter.

Especially after I got the snow blower stuck in the yard and blew a transmission.

Then I found out the dealer had sold me a tooooooo small tractor for that snow blower..    I backed the dealer (owner) up in a corner and told him we needed to have a serious conversation.

He ended up taking his tractor back at full retail price, with the tranny out, and selling me a larger one for $50 over his cost.

Thanks Jimmy. Hope you are enjoying some more good riding weather. Cold is not too bad - you can always put on more layers. But, once you're naked, and still sweating, well.... Grin

cooldude I hate to even tell it, but RJ you know I'm a gonna do it.  Rode almost 600 miles yesterday to Lockhart, TX, to ride with some Valk friends and ready some good, but expensive Q.  The temps started out in the low 70's and ended up somewhere north of 82.  Wore my mesh jacket without the liner and it got hot on the way home.  I'm not one to complain though.   Cool
How y'all get to ride today. Y'all deserve it!

Just as soon as the FOG lifts, son and I are going for a ride.

I'll take my 11 year old Grandson bitch and his dad on his Texas Chopper.

Plus either 3 or 4 HOG's.   I told the son I'd run cleanup since I don't think him and or the other HOG's can keep up..
