Thanks!  Sad Snowin like hell and the wind is blowing 40, AGAIN! The weather screwups predicted a couple of inches of snow. When I walked out of the house to go to work stepped in 6-8 inches of fresh crap. Our weather people couldn't predict daylight!  It's 2 out right now with wind chill well into the negative teens. Please direct all your weather to the south through Chicago and that area. Let the boys down south enjoy some of our weather.  Evil    cooldude

Snow missed us this trip.

I got the same chaffuer chores in a few weeks.

My youngest daughter sprained her ankle way back in school.

She sprained it again in College.

And has sprained it twice in her 14 years of working Construction.

It has finally torn it up so bad it needs surgery now.

I'm not sure when it is scheduled for, seems like it is April so maybe the bad weather will all be over with.

Dr. told her at least 4 weeks on crutches.

She tried driving with her left foot but it didn't work out too good.

She can as least work from home quite a bit, but she has meetings and etc. she has to attend, so I'm going to take her, wait for her and then bring her back home.

Oh well, she has helped me a bunch in her 40 years.  This is the one who her ex married her because he thought she had $$$$.   He got fooled so he divorced her and married a Lawyer.   Now he has 2 Cadillac SRT I think they are called. Plus a Cadillac SUV.    Only 2 drivers, but they got 3 vehicles.

Hell's Bells Bro.    I will help anyone until they screw me and then they don't need to ask for assistance, as I will just walk away like I never heard them.

I was taught to help your elders.    Grandma told me about the gettin screwed deal.

I even go out on the flyway and drag bikes in off the road who have broken down, don't give a crap what they is a riding.

In fact, when I went to Colorado after my new trailer, on the way back we were wandering all over the center of the US.    Youngest son's bride I don't think she has eve been out of Iowa till we took her with us to Colorado.

Any who, we came upon a Gold Wing Trike that had busted his driveshaft.  His buddies said he had been trying to pop wheelies all morning.   We took him to Topeka, to a driveshaft place.     They built him a new shaft in less than an hour.

He tried to pay us for the hauling of his Trike.    Told him nope, you help someone the next time you see them broke down.   I think the driveshaft place charged im something like $400.00 for the new shaft.   I just kept my mouth shut, I think they put one in his butt and broke it off in there.    He was happy to be back on the road, so it was okay with me.   Evil

Why yes, yes I did.
Went to California last Month.
Me and the wife drove out as her nephew is out in LA.
We visited the Grand Canyon on the way out. I always imagined that it was a big hole out in the desert but it's more of a big gash in the top of a mountain. Looking down from 7200 ft or so. Pretty big.

We first went to Santa Maria and rented a Harley there for a couple days. Ultra Classic. Nice bike but not a Valk. We stayed at the Best West right on the coast in San Simeon and then ran up to Monterey for lunch and went back.

Up and down the Pac. Coast Hwy. One of the more challenging roads I've ever ridden. Long ways with lots of turns and hills with my wife on the back and on a bike I've never ridden before.  Took awhile to get used to floor boards. Back brakes don't work no matter how hard you press down on them. LOL
Awesome ride.

We headed down to LA after that to hook up with the nephew. He and his fiance showed us around the LA area on a Saturday. Observatory, Hollywood, Bev. Hills, and such. We stayed at the Sunset Beach area so we headed back and hit the beach. I got to swim in the ocean for the first time in 40 years?
Was so nice. Spectacular sunset.

Got a whale watching tour in, visit to USS Iowa and then the next day the Reagan Library.
After that we hit the road for home stopping in the Vegas area and a visit to the Hoover Dam.

Kansas is the flattest thing I have ever seen. I understand why the tornadoes are so bad there. Nothing to stop them.

Anyway, awesome trip. Planning to go out there again next year only down to San Diego. Fly out this time and rent a car. But we are still in the planning stage on it.

Wife wants beach time. I do too.

I used to be able to ride the PCH blindfolded.

When San Francisco was my area headquarters, the PCH was one of the roads I got to Patrol.

If ya go again, make sure ya get up in the North end of the state and ride through, yes through a Redwood.

From San Fran to the Oregon state line is like 420 miles.

Some spots are very barren, and othrs are very green and I assume their are still some farms in the area.

Maybe now RJ I can ride around the pond. The sun! (oh ya, that thing thats been missin) We can meet JimmyT for coffee in the middle but not Chicago! . I can finally see some lawn around here and some dead "spring critters" on the road. You know, skunks and racoons and stuff. Robins all over the place so something is changin, and for the better!   cooldude   Cool Might get to ride in a couple of weeks. The snow should be gone by August.

By August, I'll probably be laid up and can't ride.   My old bones are working on it, big time.

The meeting point will have to be close to me as my O2 hose don't reach too far anymore.

Come on Spring......    All 3 Trikes are ready to rumble.

Last time I was in Toepicker, I run a railroad spike, anyway that is what they told me was in it, in my rear tire as I entered town.

I took that to mean, get ur tire fixed and get the f**k out of town.

Many years ago when I had my hardtail in San Fran, I rode it to Boise, ID for a BBQ my son-in-law (ex) was putting on.   Ate quick like said my good byes and left town for San Fran.

I had Guard Duty the next day at noon.   Made it back, but it was just pure luck.  I had a buddy to cover for me if I didn't make it.   It was so close, he was already dressed and ready to go when I came in the door.  That was tight.

Truthfully Hoser and R J are the only two people I've ever heard refer to the town as Toepicker.  I work in Topeka several days each week.

Well, there are a lot of funny names for towns out there. We've got "Hell" and "Paris" but down south they have some doooooosies...(sp) Surprised someone hasn't complained and taken the offensive names to court to get them removed. Prudish as American's are.

The word intercourse in its purest form simply means an exchange between two people.  That exchange, depending upon the modifiers involved, can be verbal conversation or sexual encounter.   ???

Its right up the road from Versailles, pronounced "Ver-sails" here.  No French allowed in German settled area.

If it is in my town, ya have to have the street to sidewalk path created within 24 hours.

But in reality, I'd say he is shoveling a hole for that U-Haul truck to back in and either load up or unload.

What cha tink on that?
