Gilligan and Navigator - Wherever we ended up

Southwest Indiana

Last August, Navigator and I had a Scottish beer in the oldest Pub in Glascow.

                                 Enjoying a Scottish beer

After the beer, we walked back to our hotel and saw this Valkyrie.  It's as if Scotland were inviting us to ride a Valk again.

Hi Gilligan,

That's my dream vacation, going back to Scotland with Sandra, but this time with the Valk and a couple of months to tour around the UK and Europe.  The dream started BK (before kids) and reality might have to wait until AK.

Had a similar dream but the other way around way back when I was a lad, managed it in 2007 when I toured the USA on my Valk, if you make it over this side of the pond on yours look me up,

Oh and I’ve copied that pic of the Valk to the UK board to see if we can get a tag on who it was.

Hi, Kevin, I hope you get to take the trip.  We went all of the way north to John O'Groats and recommend that you ride up there.  The highlands are breath-taking.

We toured Ireland after Scotland and had a great time in Dublin.  Here is a pic of one of our beer breaks.  (... love the real Guinness ...)
