I finished putting new seals an bushings in my forks.I replaced the steering head bearings a polished the upper an lower fork tubes and today checked & cleaned the brake an clutch levers. suprise suprise hardly any wear in the lever bushings. The clutch plunger bushing was a little worn so I made another one on my lathe an I'm ready to ride.Polishing was easy with a lathe an the lowers I did with a orbital sander an fine emery then buffed it .I needed the tools to instal the fork seals an made my own an saved enough money to pay for the lathe.Doing the forks is a pain in the butt but It beats having a dealer do it at $65-$75 an hour.I bet I saved $500 on the complete job.

I congratulate you sir. Job well done. Another reason this forum is well worth the price of admission. I myself can not afford the dealer hourly labor rates. Besides that i learn a little more every time i work on my Valkyrie. And that as they say is PRICELESS. RIDE SAFE.
