Hello Valk lovers!!

I'm hoping to be at Inzane and I wanted to throw a bone out and see who might be interested in having  a professional portrait created while cruising around NorthWest Arkansas.

I"m new to the Valk world but not photography.   I recently started creating HDR images, and they are quite stunning!!  Here is a sample image I created recently  while on the Dragon.

The quality of these prints are really something. I'm able to make prints up to 20x30.  If you like how it looks on the screen, the prints are even more impressive in person.  I'm just wondering how many Valk's I might be able to photograph!!  Images could be either posed, or while riding. (or both)

I've been to Eureka Springs a few times and am quite familiar with the area and it will provide some very scenic backdrops for portraits.

Of course there are plenty of details to work out, and I'm sure most people want to know "how much".  That is TBD, but I envision sessions including a large giclee print starting around 150.00.

Thanks for your input.

Althought nice, I might ask have you thought of contacting Willow or F6gal and asking about becoming a vendor at Inzane XII? You might reach a larger audience with their backing.

If you have contacted Willow, I think ya might get a better response if his stamp of approval was entered here.   How about a notation Carl aka Willow?

gordorad contacted the VRCC staff just like he said he did.  He has inquired about being a Vendor at IZ.  If anyone needs our stamp of approval, consider this our stamp of approval for his posting.

Gordorad you can put me down as a potential customer at Inzane. I've been to your web site and I'm drawn to both your compositions and darkroom (does anybody do that anymore?) talents. I just don't know if I want "me" in the picture messing it up. So keep me posted about your plans and I'll be there. Feel free to pm me.

Hey Pup.......As to the image of the Valk, it is an example of HDR photography, or High Dynamic Range.  Multiple exposures are taken of a single scene then lots of post processing later, you get a very detailed image that shows details in the shadows to highlights.

It takes a lot of work to fine tune the images...but the results are quite dynamic!!

My website has many more examples of HDR stuff, and several taken in the Eureka Springs area!!

I just love the way the texture of the road, the wall, the trees and the clouds in the sky are all accentuated and somehow brought together at the same time. And the Valkyrie just pops and yet really becomes one with the scenery. Beautiful! very cool.

As to two bikes?  Sure, but there might be an extra charge for the non Valk!!  (just kidding of course)..

As to shipping, no problem, as I will be needing to ship almost all the prints as they will not be finished until after the event.

Thanks for your comments.

This is a great idea. I would love to have a nice print done. How long does it take and will we need to make reservations for your services? Also, what size prints can you do and at what costs? Very interested. Thanks, these really look great.

Thanks for your comments.

I'm still in the planning stages regarding the "shoots".  As to how long it will take?  That will be dependent on if you want "riding" shots or "stills".

My post was just an initial inquiry to determine interest/get suggestions from the attendees.  Thus far several attendees have expressed interest so it is time for more questions/suggestions, etc.   I hope to have most of the "sessions" booked in advance, so I will be taking reservations.

As to print sizes largest "normal" size if 20x30, but additional sizes are avaialble.   How large of a print would you like?

A question for others.....What are you preferences for the images....Riding?  Posed?  Motorcycle by itself??  All?  None?  This will help me determine what will be best to offer.

Thanks to all who have responded and made suggestions.

If I were to get one, I would be looking at something not too large. Maybe around a 8 x 10. Probably a posed shot. I hope you get enough interest and the price is right. Thanks.
