I just ordered the BigBF Quad Horn Set. I'm looking forward to replacing the original sqeaker of a horn. I don't think the stock horn is as loud as the horn on my old Fiat 850 Spider

Hardest thing you will do is is mount
the horn.
It,s grate to sneakup on people and use it on them.

Not only do you hear the horns, you kinda feel the ground shake. It'll definitely get someones attention.

How in the world do you mount these horns? I know you don't have to pull the swingarm, even though the instructions show it removed. My Interstate is up in the air (ATV lift with the removable red adapter) with the rear wheel off and still I can't get my hand on top of the side stand brace to get the second bolt to drop down into the bracket. There's just no room to work let alone get the second bolt into the hole. I even have the entire rer fender off. Was looking at removing the whole battery tray but that adds way too mouch additional complexity. Plus I'm not sure it would offer much additional room to work.
Any helpful insight or suggestions are GREATLY appreciated.

just installed mine, same problem. I put the bolts in the bracket first then fit the other bracket on it. I taped the bolts so they would not push up. Installed the nuts next. After removing the side covers I was able to reach the bolts with a 8" long wrench to tighten.

Here's what we did.
The instructions label that comes attached to the bag says to put the long bent bracket on top the cross member. It says "...long bracket go over top of crossmember and bent down a little more." So that's what we did. The small support bracket is on the bottom of the cross member. The forward bolt went on ok from the top (nut on the bottom). The rear bolt had to go up from the bottom (nut on top). My bike is in the air without the rear wheel or the shocks so my rear drive/swingarm is only held up by the right muffler. It looks as though the swing arm still doesn't hit the horn mount.
God bless my wife as she crawled under the bike with me. With her small hands she was able to put the rear nut on the bolt and hold them in place while I used a ratchet from the bottom to tighten them up. It sure took longer than 20 minutes but they seem to be mounted ok. Now to wire them up and test them out.
Oh what a night!
