I did the same with mine. The temp dipstick is longer than the OEM one, so I measured the original from the beginning of the thread to the marks.
Full= 21 cm
Low= 22,2 cm
Measurement may not be rocket science, but you can look for yourself.

Wouldn't one way be to properly change the oil and just add 3 qts then mark the stick, add the 4th qt and remark the stick..

it already has marks on it. u need the instructions that came with it. it might be on their site or give them a call, their customer service is excellent.

The Valk takes exactly 4 quarts for an oil change.  Easiest thing to do is give her a oil change w filter and start her up for a few minutes.   Shut down and Give the oil time to get back to the crankcase, stand her up and pull the stick.   Mark it at that level.  your good to go.

to be exact from the tech manual
oil capacity is 3.9 quarts or 3.7 liters with an OEM filter.  4 quarts will be overfilled.
3.9 quarts is 124.8 fluid oz   4 quarts is 128 fluid oz

Bah... I hate bi rulers. You're building something? Need to compare this to that? Measure
this in inches, turn around to measure that and now you're reading centimeters...

 I did my first oil change couple months back. leaned the bike over to the right about as much as it is on the side stand, do drain as much oil as I could. Used my cycle lift. took 4 qt to fill her back to the top line.

The Valk actually takes about 4.5 qts but generally about a 1/2 qt stays in the case.. If you raise the front a bit and lean it to the right about 4 1/4 qts will come out.. But, this is getting picky, but, some like picky..

yes for us being picky, per the manual 4.3 liters or 4.5 qts at disassembly of engine. normal oil change is in my earlier post.

I've got a TBR temp gage / dipstick on mine and it has a line scribed on it that coincides with the full mark on the stock stick.  Its tought to see, but its there.
