No, but for $3.99, I wouldn't be afraid to try one, I doubt they would make a good replacement for a head light, but I was wrong once before.

Am I reading this right? It's HIGH beam replacement. Our headlights are both low and high beams. So is this the right bulb for a dual beam headlight?

It said fog and high, not sure what that means, but I would take that to mean a low and a high.  Of course I was wrong once... Oh, wait, we've been here before.

LED's designed like that make great tail lights and they might be okay for auxiliary lights (fog lights) ...  but I seriously doubt they throw enough light to illuminate the road adequately as the main headlight... even with the headlight's reflector.

I took the fog and high to mean low and high beam..(fog lights are always set up to run with low beam lights)...though, what I thought don't matter...at least til the bulb arrives...I will certainly post how it goes when I get it.

If "Luminous flux: 220 - 250LM" is anything like lumens, this is way under powered. The H4 is 700/1200 on low /high.

H-4 designates a High/Low beam light. I kind of understand this to be a single beam bulb (I believe H-7)  This bulb may be ok for a spot light, but I would highly doubt you would want to use it for a headlight. Most all bulbs use some type of reflector to aim the light. and this doesn't look like it would be capable of this.

Because the LEDs are covering such a large area, the light pattern would be extremely unfocused compared to a proper halogen bulb.

You'd be surprised.  LEDs have come a long way in the past couple of years.

I'm with Gryphon Rider on this one. Light spray everywhere due to the "filament" (more accurately called source) being so large as compared to an H4 incandescent bulb. Heck, even the difference between a standard H4 and a Xenon bulb is bad news for light spray.

OK guys...I agree it may be a piece of s---, but I spend more money on a hamburger and if it works, it works..if it doesn't it doesn't..not that big a deal, but I figure it's worth a try. I am not one of those "We have always done it this way" dudes.

LED's have come a long way - but not this one.  Good, well aimed LED headlights - with CREE elements - are capable of putting out more light than halogens.  This H4 bulb you found is capable of jumping on the LED bandwagon for not much cost and separating you from that small amount of money.  Yeah, it's not much - so if a million other guys do the same as you because it doesn't cost much, they will make a TON of money - and no one will bother to collect on any warranty, even for unsuitability to purpose, because the loss is so small.  The Ginzu Knife marketing plan.

I had several tabs open to some great LED spots & headlights lately but I didn't bookmark them and now they are gone.  One was at the Kuryakyn site, and another was a thread on advrider.  Had a couple others, too. They list around $100 ea w/o mounting hardware.  Their demonstrated light output was impressive - like up to 3600 lumens.  Advmonster is one of the companies - you can find sales online, there's an outfit posting on advrider that's offering a sale now.  Here's advmonster's web site, LED spots page - http://stores.intuitwebsites.com/hstrial-QualiRegResou/-strse-LED-Lights/Categories.bok  Here's one of their illumination images - Yeah I know, it would be more helpful if it was a comparison to say a standard H4 halogen headlight.  I did see that elsewhere but don't have the link now.

The light creating this illumination -

The shop mgr. said he would set aside a burned out incandescent for me to see if it'll fit the Valk. If it does, then this will probably be on the  list for next winter.
