Well a couple months before riding season really hits here in MN, So I thought I'd get going on some maintenance, I had a rear caliper that was frozen so I thought I'd go ahead and service them all, also was in need of some new tires, when I pull the spline I was really surprised how well it looked with 51,000 miles hardly no wear on them, ( after seeing some of them from the board here I expected worse), 14,200 out of the Avon Cobras, the rear was really cupped bad, the front wasn't too bad but I'll be changing both anyway. So while I wait on tire/parts/good weather ect. this is what I've been doing besides cleaning every crack.
I wish they could stay that way without cleaning constantly.
Enjoy and Ride Safe!

Looks good.  If you're really board, I've got the wheels off of mine, that I;m ready to give up on the polishing on.  I'd gladly ship them to you, if not, i'm  Gonna fire up the sand blaster this afternoon, and the  spray paint tomorrow....

That polishing is a lot of work I'm sorry to say that I'm not that bored, What color are you going to paint them?, a good coat of paint might be easier to keep clean. Post some pics when your done.

thanks

Going with Duplicolor hi temp engine enamel. Gloss Black.  Have used this product over the last few years as what seems (to me) as a much more durable spray paint, than the usual stuff.  2 coats primer, with 3 coats paint, and 2 clear ( all Duplicolor Eng enamel) Will see how it turns out, hopefully worthy for my first shot at pic posting.
