Just flagged another local CL ad for a pristine 2006 fully loaded Goldwing for $2800 cash. These are popping up on a regular basis and are so obvious a fraud that I find it hard to believe that people are actually falling for these. The ads are professionally done and really grab a person's attention. Can't imagine someone going through all this trouble if they weren't making money..... but still......

Unfortunately they do.  We had a poster last year that fell for the Craigslist scam Valk.

I went to flag a similar ad for a pick up tuck on my local craigslist yesterday and was surprised to find that labeling something as a possible scam isn't an option.

That leads me to believe that craigslist really has NO interest in attempting to control the scammers.

And with little to NO legal repercussions to those that are doing the scamming, what do they have to lose ?
