My 2000 Toure has just cracked the 50K mark and it's time for new brake rotors, front and rear. Where is the best source for the lowest prices, probably for EBC aftermarket components, but I'm open to any reputable alternative to the Honda units. (The OEMS should be made out of platinum for what they cost). I appreciate all suggestions. By the way, if anyone has a set of OEM's kicking around for a decent price, I'm interested. Thanks from Hugh in Vancouver, Canada

Sorry to say this but if your using EBC pads that is the reason your rotors went out. That happened to me on a gold wing.My valk has 130000 miles an still on stock rotors.

I recently bought a pair of front OEM Hondaline rotors for under $100 each. I also purchased the pads for all 3 brake calipers for just over $100 from HDL. If you keep an eye out you can buy them on sale (usually 10 or 15% off). I also got free shipping (did get charged a $7.50 Handling fee).

This is the old price. Honda lowered the price to get rid of old stock. Gold Wing 1800 front rotors also fit and are about $150 each.

Several years ago I wore out a set on my gold wing an at that time they were over $300 each so being a machinist I bought the material an made four of my own for under $200.

How did you attach the rotors back on to the center section of the front wheel units? ***

Replaced my original stock rotors at 100k. Always used Honda pads. Got my new EBC's at my Honda dealer...even they didn't want to sell me OEM's.

And they'll be glad to sell you your next rotors as well.
