Driving light problem. HELP

I left my light bar on today and ran the battery down. Turned off the light let the bike set for 1 hour and the bike strated. It was dank so I left the light bar off and went for a ride. I have a halogen low beam and reg high beam. After about 4 mins the halogen went off. I switched to high beam an it worked switched back to low beam and ever 2 mins it keeps going off. Is something overheating our what?

First, did you make the mistake of wiring it into the headlight circuit? If so, wire it up with a totally separate circuit.

I got the bike last August and have put over 2000 miles on with no problem. This just strated today. Rode alot at night last fall.

You need to chase down the wiring for those lights. They should be on there own line with a relay and fuse of their own..You could use a separate switch or the hi-low switch, or even a combination of the two..

You definitely don't want them wired in addition to the headlights, the current draw with all those lights on that circuit is excessive and will cause problems once wires start to overheat.

excuse me for asking, but what is, how is, tthat done. YOu have a special type of bulb or two headlights?

Did they put a self resetting circuit breaker in whenn they installed the light bar???
