A terrible day in coast guard aviation.  No further information is authorized for release, I'm just asking for thought and prayers for the remaining crew members and for the families and friends of those lost already.

The link below is a short description of the HH-65 Crash that occurred in Mobile, AL last night.

Blue skies and following seas my fallen brothers.

Lost, NEVER FORGOTTEN.

RIP.

Boxer rebellion, the Holy Child. They all pay their rent.
But none together can testify to the rhythm of a road well bent.
Saddles and zip codes, passports and gates, the Jones' keep.
In August the water is trickling, in April it's furious deep.

Undecided Thoughts with them and theirs. My kid was a Coastie. He did two years as a SAR coordinator stationed in Puerto Rico and four years as a weekend (Reserves) SAR cood at Air Station Humboldt Bay. He was part of the honor guard for the recovery of the crew that went down during a rescue in 1997.
Eureka, CA. is a "Coast Guard City". We "salute" them.  Cry

Those guys lay their lives on the line with every rescue they attempt, they deserve all the respect in the world.   Undecided  Hoser

In this wild and wolly world, there are only 3 things you can depend on, your brains, your bros, and your bike.  Ride free!!!

A good friend will bail you out of jail.  A true friend will be sitting next to saying "Damn, That Was Fun"
