Yesterday was the eighth anniversary of the death of our son. It was a difficult day to say the least but I wanted to express my genuine appreciation to all those that helped make the day better. Those that gathered last night to commemorate the event will always have a special place in our hearts. It's great to have such good friends.

I don't know how old your Son was upon his passing, but each time that day rolls around, it is a difficult one for us, and I'm certain it was a difficult one for you. It has been three years since our son passed away, we have trouble with those certain days. Sometimes remembering the fun you had with them eases the pain a little, but not forever.
