Using the lighter color as the majority helps make you more visible for daytime riding and if it's a Pearl White it will act much like a big reflector when headlights hit it.

My scheme kinda creates an illusion of a smaller fairing while the green scallops similar to the tank as it nears the sides of the windscreen.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

I painted my fairing, which kinda sux, but ended up putting a bra on it. The bra, at least I think, follows my bike lines. Leather bra, seat, and saddle bag lids. I think about repainting it all the time but like the protection the bra gives.

Here's reversed... colors aren't exact, but you get the idea.

These all look great.  I like that blue '97 tourer!

Here's the thing.  I love the black leather on the bags and trunk, but they tend to overpower the red and white elsewhere.  One of the posts above had red and white all over, which looks fantastic, but I would not change your leather look.  Someone mentioned red and black.  I think that's what you should play with in Photoshop.  I think incorporating the red and black into your fairing would make your rear hardware look even better.  I would be tempted to take your black set of tins and do a red and black scheme on them.  Then, if you like it, you could put up on the board for reuse.
