I just wanted all your input on something.... I just ordered some white wall tires for my fat lady and the chrome solo seat rail. Now I am thinking of buying a new solo ultimate big boy seat with somewhat of a different design to it. I have the 97 red/white valk and I was thinking about ordering a white seat for it. I wanted to get the two tone version. Main colour being white with red stitching and having the red on the sides. I think with the white walls, chrome seat rail and this seat that it would give it an awesome retro look but I just want to get some other opinions. Thanks guys. Here is a pic of my fat lady

i think that will look really good, too. i'd just be sure the red in the seat is the same red that's on the bike or if not, a bit darker red as apposed to lighter, imo.

Ya definitely not lighter. I wouldn't want it to look pink. I am going to call and hopefully they can assure me that the red will match. I just wanted to see what everyone thought because I haven't scene a white seat yet on this website.

I was planning on calling on monday. I kinda just figured it would be a possibility because of all the other custom colours I saw on his website. You think it might be a problem?

Maybe it won't do it, but I'd worry about it looking dirty after awhile.

Oh I searched and searched on here and finally found this thread kuryakyn 4050 The dont make white walls in the exact size but from what other riders say, these Dunlops work great! The sizes differences are: The 150-80-17 front was replaced with a 140-80-17 (D404) The 180-70-16 rear was replaced with a 180-65-16 (D407) The front tire is easy to find as many suppliers have it. However, the rear tire is only carried by harley dealerships but I was lucky enough to find a brand new one on flea bay from a local person! I paid this: Front tire- $137.00 with free shipping Back tire- $176.00 and I was able to pick it up I think I got a great deal on the rear tire. I cant wait to put them on!

I think white would look fine. But if it were me, I'd probably get a red seat with white trim. But anything is better then black, which is known to slow a bike down.

A couple of years ago I went over to Ultimate Seats in Daytona. A good friend of mine use to work there and said he had a blue and silver complete set for the Interstate that did not get purchased. I already had complete black set but was interested in what it would look like be it I had the blue/silver bike. The silver was off in color being lighter and did not look right. The blue matched good. Be careful that you match the white right on with the bike. A shade lighter or darker in my opinion stands out and does not look good. I do think a white seat would look good if matching right on with the bike colors.
